About Programme
This is an intellectually enriching program designed to equip students with the conceptual and analytical skills required to develop into competent and effective professionals. This program offers two electives namely Finance & Taxation /Marketing & Analytics. Students are exposed to a culture of research through classes in Research Methodology, Statistical packages, mandatory dissertation work and research paper presentation in seminars and conferences.

Eligibility

Candidates who have passed B.Com or BBM degree from any recognized university and have secured at least 50% of mark in the aggregate of all papers studied in the qualifying examinations are eligible for admission into this course.

Candidates will have two rounds for selection namely Entrance Test and Interview.

Applicants who are selected for the interview/orientation should bring along with them the hard copy of the application form, Photocopies of marks cards, caste certificate (if applicable). Applicants who are Roman Catholics are expected to produce a letter from the Parish Priest at the time of interview/orientation. Provisionally selected candidates have to appear in formal attire with their parents for the interview/orientation. Originals for verification purpose only.

Kindly note the fee is fixed for one year, there may be a nominal increase in fees every academic year.
Indian nationals pursuing an International curriculum in India, will pay the fee applicable for NRI students for the first year.

The selected candidates, after appearing for the final selection process, must pay the fee through the following options:
a) Via bank transfer to the Bank of Baroda, Brigade Road Branch, Bangalore.
To pay via bank transfer, candidates must contact the accounts department in the college or mail to accounts@sjcc.edu.in for details.
b) DD drawn in favor of "St. Joseph's College of Commerce" payable at Bengaluru.

SPGAT (Aptitude Test)

THE SPGAT WILL CONSIST OF 4 SECTIONS:

1. English
2. Quantitative Aptitude, Numeric Ability
3. Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation
4. General knowledge and Current Affairs

  1. The test will begin at 9:30 am

  2. Candidates are required to be present in the venue by 8:30 am

  3. The test will be conducted for a duration of one hour

  4. Each section will consist of 10 questions

  5. All questions are compulsory

  6. There will be no negative marking

2nd May 2019 ROUND 2

Interview

Interviews – Selected candidates from the aptitude test will be interviewed by a panel of faculty members.

  1. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend the interview round

  2. Timings and room allotment will be made available along with the selected list of students


3rd May 2019 ROUND 3

Document Verification

Documents to be produced:
  1. Printout of the filled in online application form

  2. Valid ID (Aadhar, Passport etc.)

  3. 10th standard marks card

  4. 11th standard marks card

  5. 12th standard marks card (if available)

  6. Caste certificate (if applicable)

  7. Parish Priest letter (if Roman Catholic)

  8. E- Admit card.
