The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (Autonomous) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that academic and institutional activities are aligned with the quality standards and policies prescribed by the institution and accrediting bodies at the state and national levels.
Established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), IQAC functions as a central coordinating body to institutionalize quality assurance practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
IQAC promotes excellence by coordinating key quality assurance processes, including academic and administrative audits, stakeholder feedback mechanisms, faculty and course evaluations, institutional rankings and statutory reporting, faculty development initiatives, and continuous monitoring and enhancement of teaching–learning and institutional practices. Through these structured initiatives and active stakeholder engagement, IQAC contributes to strengthening academic and administrative systems and supports evidence-based institutional development.
St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, an autonomous institution with a distinguished legacy in commerce and management education since 1972, has consistently upheld high academic standards, as reflected in its prestigious NAAC ‘A++’ accreditation under the Revised Accreditation Framework. IQAC continues to be instrumental in sustaining this culture of quality by promoting best practices, strengthening institutional processes and supporting continuous academic and administrative excellence.
At St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, quality is a continuous journey of learning, reflection and improvement. The IQAC remains committed to nurturing a culture where feedback informs action, evidence supports decisions and quality becomes a shared responsibility.
