CHAPTER I

About the Cell

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (Autonomous) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that academic and institutional activities align with the quality standards prescribed by the institution and by accrediting bodies at the state and national levels. Established under NAAC guidelines, the Cell functions as the central coordinating body that institutionalises quality assurance and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
It coordinates academic and administrative audits, stakeholder feedback mechanisms, faculty and course evaluations, institutional rankings and statutory reporting, faculty development initiatives, and the continuous enhancement of teaching–learning practices.
