1975 joined INDIAN ARMY, MEG and CENTRE, Bangalore. Retired as Honorary lieutenant in 2002 after 28 years of meritorious service.
1978-85 - Represented Madras Engineer Group & Centre (MEG) in Command / Karnataka State / All India Basketball Tournaments.
1985-86 - NIS (Diploma) in Basketball from NSNIS, Patiala. Grading - 1" class.
FIBA Level 1 Coaching Certification in the year 2015 at Bangalore, Karnataka.
1986 to 2002 - Coach for ARMY/ KARNATAKA STATE/ SERVICES Teams.
