About International Desk
International Desk at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce aims to cater to the growing demand and the need to focus on innovative ways to add value to student’s learning through internationalization. Dedicated to providing students with international exposure in their fields of study, the international desk guides students in building a knowledge base that is relevant and applicable across the world. In its constant endeavour to provide students the opportunity to gain a perfect blend of academics, practical experience and unparalleled exposure to an international learning community, the International Desk ventures into various foreign cultural-cum-academic collaborations. The key objective of the International Desk is to provide an international educational exposure to students, promote and offer global opportunities, as well as develop intercultural understanding among students.

Collaborations
St. Joseph’s College of Commerce has paved the way for International exchange programmes through its International twinning initiatives, Cultural Exchange and Summer Abroad Programmes. These programmes are an enriching and refining experience at many levels. They steer personal and professional development among students by kindling creative ideas, strengthening relationships and instilling cultural sensitivity. In recognition of the said objectives, the Institution has collaborated with Swansea University -UK, Kobe College -Japan, Eastern Institute of Technology - New Zealand, Seattle University, Concordia College – New York, FIGS – France, MUST – Malaysia, Women in Tech - Maldives and MAHSA, Malaysia. However, this year being VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain , complex and Ambiguous) because of pandemic Covid-19, most of the programmes took halt for some time and were rerouted to online platforms in line with the Government notifications. The partnerships, opportunities and interactions took place through online mode to ensure uninterrupted quality learning.
