The mid-day meal scheme was introduced in the college to address the nourishment needs of the students, especially when they are unable to afford a meal. It was introduced in furtherance to our commitment to holistic student development.
Free meals are provided to Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students, emphasizing hygiene and cleanliness in meal preparation and serving. Students sign attendance sheets in the college office, receive coupon-like coins and use them at the canteen to obtain meals everyday.
The scheme covers marginalized students in the campus with annual variations influenced by budget allocations.
