Recruiters and Report for 2019-20
Recruiters (The Logos of companies who have conducted Placements are associated with, and a brief description of prominent names, highest pay package.) (Overview of Recruiters List) The recruitment exercise commenced in college as early as the second week of July, 2019. Information about placements was made available to students through the college SMS system, college website, social media platforms and placement notice board. For this academic year, 350 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students registered for campus placements of which 300 (86%placed) students have been offered jobs by various companies and many more in the pipeline for recruitment and selection. The highest compensation offered this year has been Rs. 21, 00, 000 approximately by Mu Sigma for the role in data science followed by Boston Consulting Group at Rs. 8, 50, 000 approximately for the role in marketing research and around Rs. 6, 00, 000 by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase for analyst roles in finance and operations. Most of the other organizations visiting campus for recruitments offered pay packages between Rs. 3, 50, 000 and Rs. 4, 50, 000.

Apart from this, over 200 organisations have approached the Cell of college to recruit students for internship across various fields. The Placement and Internship Cell has maintained a database of these organisations to help the students who need assistance in finding internship. The year started with the revamping of the internship policy for Corporate Internship, Social Sector Internship and Start-Up Internships. The process of revamping includes making amendments/ additions related to the existing guidelines, Internship Report format, inclusion of attendance report and provisions to cater to the needs of the large community of students pursuing professional courses.
