Classroom teaching-learning process becomes meaningful and effective only when students get an interface in order to understand the functioning of the industry. SJCC believes learning is effective when supplemented with programmes which focus and also traverse beyond the syllabus and curriculum. Industrial visits are an efficient way of exposing students to the nature of corporate and industrial practices. Industrial visits are organized for all classes in the academic year by their class mentors.
Below are the details of the industrial visits organized in this academic year:
Industrial Visit- 1 BBA D
On 5th August 2024, the students of 1st Year BBA (D), accompanied by their teachers Ms.
Priyadarshini and Ms. Nikita, visited Dairy Classic Ice Creams, Harohalli Unit. This visit
provided an insightful experience into the operations of a frozen food manufacturing facility,
allowing the students to observe and understand the intricacies of industrial processes firsthand.
It also emphasized the importance of quality control, innovation, and efficiency in the food
industry. The students left with a greater understanding of the complexities involved in
producing high-quality frozen desserts and the operational challenges faced by such industries.
The visit was highly educational and offered the students a glimpse into potential career
opportunities within the food manufacturing sector.
