About the programme

The establishment of the Postgraduate Department at St. Joseph's College of Commerce(Autonomous) dates back to 2002, when it introduced the M.Com(Finance&Taxation) programme. The main goal was to create an enriching and supportive environment to cater to the needs of ambitious students aspiring for further education.

Over the years, the department has evolved and expanded its offerings. In 2007, it introduced the Postgraduate Diploma programmes and M.Com (International Business) programme to meet the growing needs of various commerce and management fields. Recognizing the increasing significance of finance, the M.Com (Financial Analysis) programme was introduced in 2017. The department is proud to have a dedicated team of faculty members, many of whom hold doctorates and possess extensive teaching experience. Additionally, experts from various industries and professional bodies also contribute to the academic landscape, providing students with diverse and valuable insights.
