Professional Programmes Associations
Association of International Management Studies (AIMS)
AIMS (Association of International Management Studies) is formed in the academic year 2018,
is exclusively meant for the BBA (Professional - Finance and Accountancy) students and also
open for other management students. The association provides various opportunities to aid the
students in expanding their knowledge base and skill set that would enhance their career
prospects and equip them with relevant skills. It also assists the students is pursuing and
exploring various professional courses available in the field of management.
Objectives:
● To inculcate the qualities of a business professional in students through engaging
activities.
● To provide continuous learning through guest sessions, developing critical
thinking and problem-solving skills through various activities and
● To motivate members in taking up exams of the CIMA Professional Qualification.
Outcomes:
- Providing a range of platforms for exchange of experiences and ideas through
guest talks, fun based activities and alumni connect series
- Networking with industry experts and professionals from CIMA through online
discussion forums
- Enabling students to take the professional examination through continuous
support and guidance by rank holders
Association Coordinator

The Association for Professional Studies (APS)
is the guild of all the B.Com students
undertaking any kind of professional courses at college as well as the alumni students, who
have completed these courses. With professional courses becoming the go-to option for
students worldwide, such an association is an asset for the college in the facilitation of
outstanding results and raising the benchmarks higher than before. The association provides a
platform for professional students to interact with peers and alumni members undertaking such
courses and helps to highlight the academic achievement of the students. Therefore, the
association provides guidance and morale to the professional students and provides essential
professional academic highlights and achievements to the Department and the Management.
Objectives:
● Establish a link between the professional students and the management.
● To transform into a single platform at the college level for any matters related to
professional courses and the students.
● Maintain a database of the students pursuing various professional courses and
provides follow ups on each of their progression in the same.
● The members who are up to date on contemporary topics and latest
Amendments in the field of Taxation, Accounting and Secretarial standards,
Audit, Companies Act, Union Budgets and so on, make presentations to
enlighten the other students on campus.
● To provide student talks and discussions with alumni and industry professionals
in order to widen their understanding of the professional courses and to bring
about a clearer future career path.
● To promote a culture of continuous learning by organizing guest lectures,
seminars, etc.
● To encourage a balance between academic excellence, extracurricular activities,
and mental health.
Outcomes:
- Maintaining a comprehensive report of all the students pursuing professional courses in
the campus and outside the campus
- Enrichment of knowledge through various sessions by industry experts for the
professional students
- Preparation of videos and refresher material on subject matter for various courses and
uploading on college website
- Assisting students in balancing their professional courses and college exams
