Dr. R. Rajaram began his teaching career as a lecturer in English at St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science in 1987. There he taught English language and literature at pre-university and undergraduate levels. In 2002 he came to St. Joseph’s College of Commerce where currently he is professor and Head-of-the-Department. In a career spanning 27 years apart from teaching regulated courses at undergraduate levels he has also been a visiting faculty at Department of English, Bangalore University and Central University, Gulbarga where he has been teaching post-graduate students as invited faculty. With a masters degree in psychology from Kuvempu University he has also offered certificate courses in psychology and neuro-linguistic programme. His book title ‘Smart English’ which is a collection of published newspaper columns is due for publication in April 2014.
