Ms. Sumithra Sreenivasan

Ms. Sumithra Sreenivasan is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA - USA) with a strong academic foundation. She holds an MBA (specializing in HR and Systems) from Madurai Kamaraj University (2001), an M.Com from Queen Mary's College, Chennai, and a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management. She established her academic credentials by qualifying as an Assistant Professor through the UGC NET in December 2012.
Her teaching career began at Miranda Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore, before she moved to Garden City College, where she served for two years. In 2015, she joined St. Joseph's College of Commerce, initially serving three years in the Examination Department as Custodian of Examinations before taking on leadership of various professional programs.
Ms. Sreenivasan has been recognized by ACCA for her excellence in Strategic Business Reporting and brings a deep interest in IFRS and IND AS to her work. She currently teaches Financial Reporting courses for post graduate programmes at St. Joseph's College of Commerce and is also coordinating the B.Com (Accounting and Taxation), CA Integrated Programme with a genuine passion for professional education.
