Ms. Sumithra Sreenivasan, a Certified Management Accountant, earned her MBA with a specialization in HR and Systems from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2001 and a M. Com from Queen Mary's College, Chennai. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management. Her journey into academia began with her qualification as an Assistant Professor through the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) in December 2012.

Fueled by a passion for teaching, Ms. Sreenivasan initially contributed her expertise to Miranda Institute of Management Studies in Bangalore. She later transitioned to Garden City College, where she dedicated two years to her role. In 2015, she joined St. Joseph’s College of Commerce and, following three years as a custodian in the Exam Department, she presently spearheads various professional programs. Recognized for her excellence in Strategic Business Reporting by ACCA, Ms. Sreenivasan demonstrates a keen interest in IFRS and IndAS. Currently, she is actively involved in teaching Financial reporting courses for professional programs at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce.
