About the Programme
The Bachelor of Commerce programme has an innovative curriculum design which
enables students to have a solid foundational knowledge of Accounting, Economics,
Taxation, Statistics, Auditing, Cost Accounting and Finance as well as a choice of
interdisciplinary courses in addition to skill-based courses. In the third year, the
students also have the option to choose their specialization from a wide choice of
electives. B.Com offers several experiential learning programmes such as
international and national industrial visits, extension programmes, social and
corporate internships, involvement in live research and participation in several clubs
and associations.

Timings :
Shift I: 7:00 am onwards

Note: 7:00 am Batch will be allotted only to candidates pursuing Indian Professional
programs like CA/CMA/CS etc.; proof of which has to be submitted during the
Interview.
It is essential for all candidates seeking admission to the 1 st year of the degree programme to have completed 12 years of schooling through an examination conducted by a Board/University. Students must have passed exams at +2 level (ISC/CBSE/ other state boards/International Board/Karnataka PU Board) in any stream from any recognized boards from India or abroad.
• Admission will be on a Merit basis.
• The applicants should submit the respective board results within 2 days from the
date of result declaration.
• Day 1- the date of the board result announcement.
• Check the college website or applicant portal for further information.
• The provisional list of candidates and the schedule of the interview will be available
on the website and applicant login (stage details).
• Provisionally selected candidates will be intimated through applicant login/ E-mail.
• Personal Interview & Document Verification.
Applicants who are selected for the interview should bring along with original and
photocopy of:
1. Printout of the filled-in online application form
2. Valid ID (Aadhar, Passport etc.)
3. Class X marks card
4. Class XI marks card
5. Class XII marks card (if available)
6. Caste certificate (if Applicable)
7. Parish priest letter (if Roman Catholic)
Note:
Provisionally selected candidates must appear in formal attire with their
parents for the personal interview and document verification. It is Mandatory that
while attending the interview the candidates must produce the above-mentioned
documents.

Indian nationals pursuing an international curriculum in India will pay the fee
applicable for the NRI status during the first year.

Provisional Admission letter.

• The college does not accept capitation/donations for admissions. In case such
a demand is made by anyone, it is requested to bring it to the notice, in writing
to the Vice President, Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society, Jesuit Nivas,
35, Museum Road, Bengaluru– 560 025.
• The decision of the Admissions Committee at St. Joseph’s College of
Commerce will be final and binding in all matters concerning admissions.
