Diana Sushmitha, an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, holds a Master’s degree in English from St. Joseph’s College and a Bachelor’s degree in English Honours from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis titled "New Shoots in Old Roots: An Exploration of Collaborative Cafe Spaces in Koramangala, Bengaluru" and is currently awaiting her defence. Ms. Diana has seven years of teaching experience and has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at three colleges in Bengaluru. She has delivered courses on diverse subjects, including Postcolonial Studies, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, World Literatures, Native Writings, Critical and Creative Thinking Skills, and Critical Inquiry and Research Methods. Her research interests include Spatiality Studies, City Spaces, Gender Studies, and Food Narratives.
