Dr. Fariyal Shaikh is a dedicated and highly experienced senior faculty member of the Hindi Department at SJC/SJU and SJCC, with an impressive tenure of over 34 years. Throughout her illustrious career, she has led the Hindi Department and Hindi Parishad, holding various key positions such as Dean of Languages, Student Council Governor, BOE-BOS Chairperson, and many others. This extensive experience has exposed her to collaborating with students from diverse backgrounds, each with unique needs and learning styles. Additionally, her specialization in psychological novels further enriches her ability to connect with and support students in their academic journey. As we are transitioning towards normalcy through hybrid method, she got the chance to present paper showcasing the importance of Hindi literature in the International seminar. She has also guided the new social and corporate interned students through viva process for making them better for their future endeavors. Through NEP she has made sure that Hindi literature is highlighted and its importance is understood. As a disciplined senior teacher, she understands the importance of consistency, routine, and accountability in promoting student success. She believes that education is a lifelong pursuit, and is committed to stay up to date with the latest research, and technologies that can help her to serve her students and colleagues better therefore has participated in more than 400 seminars, workshops, and FDP etc. Her book publications, research papers, term papers for students especially defines her thorough study of the student’s need and necessity of overall growth in learning and re-learning. Her passion for teaching makes her an invaluable member of the education profession.
