Dr. Nihara Marie Thomas

Dr. Nihara Marie Thomas is a budding academician and researcher with a specialisation in digital marketing and consumer behaviour. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, with her doctoral research focusing on "Credibility of Social Media Influencers and the Role of Opinion Leadership on Purchase Intention." A recipient of the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2019, she earned both her Masters (Finance) and Bachelor degrees with distinction.
She began her teaching career in 2018 and has since gained experience in higher education, presenting her research at various national and international conferences and publishing in reputed academic journals. Her areas of academic interest include marketing management, consumer behaviour, research methodology, and data analysis.
Dr. Nihara has also served as a resource person for workshops on academic writing and statistical tools like SPSS and has actively coordinated academic events such as seminars and student research conclaves. A trained classical dancer and she finds joy in listening music. Dr. Nihara is passionate about transforming classrooms into collaborative learning ecosystems where academic insights evolve into practical innovation.
