The theme for the Third-Year City-Level Seminar, "Future in Focus: Skills for the Next Decade," prepared graduating students to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market. It focused on building strategic job profiles beyond traditional resumes, mastering digital marketing to engage in the online economy, and understanding how to collaborate effectively with AI in business. The seminar empowered students with practical skills and insights to navigate the technology-driven future of work successfully.
First Year Seminar - The Human Code: Moral Compass for Success
The seminar "The Human Code: Moral Compass for Success" introduced first-year BBA students to the ethical foundations essential for business leadership. It focused on three key areas: Ethics in Entrepreneurship, emphasizing value-driven ventures that build trust and long-term impact; Ethical Use of AI, encouraging responsible technology use that enhances creativity and fairness; and Ethical Leadership, highlighting the importance of empathy, accountability, and moral courage in guiding decisions.
Second Year Seminar : Financially Wired: from Breaks to Breakthroughs
The seminar "Financially Wired: From Basics to Breakthroughs" introduced second-year BBA students to the evolving world of finance shaped by technology and global trends. It explored three key areas: FinTech, highlighting how innovations like digital payments and blockchain are transforming financial systems; Global Financial Trends & Careers in Finance, providing insights into market movements and emerging career paths; and Personal Finance, focusing on practical skills for budgeting, saving, and investing. The session aimed to build financial awareness and prepare students for success in a technology-driven economy.
Real-Time Multiplayer Business Simulation Game
A real-time multiplayer business simulation workshop was organized in collaboration with ProcessBee, providing students with an immersive and interactive learning experience. Second-year BBA students participated on the 15th and 16th of July 2025, while first-year students engaged on the 28th and 29th of August 2025.
Throughout these workshops, participants worked in teams and navigated real-world business scenarios, making decisions across marketing, finance, operations, and human resources. The multiplayer aspect enabled students to collaborate and compete, mirroring the complexities of running a company in a changing marketplace.
Pitch Point was a large-scale event in collaboration with real-time investors, Thellion and
Number Leader, designed to provide a platform for student entrepreneurs, whether they have a
startup or are in the idea stage, to present their ideas to a group of investors. Additionally, it
offered a venue for investors interested in these ideas to provide either investment or mentorship
to the students. The event included a panel discussion with experts on investment and
entrepreneurship.
This opportunity was not limited to students alone; it also welcomed entrepreneurs from various
parts of Bangalore, helping them to develop and enhance their startup ideas with support from
other investors.
● Session 1 commenced with student startup pitches, attended by BBA entrepreneurship
students from all three years.
● Following the pitches, a dedicated panel discussion featured Partha Roy, Geetha
Ramamurthy, Naren Narayana, and was moderated by Kushal Shankar Joka.
● After the panel, the winners of the student pitches were announced: P-Elite took first
place, Eco Net was the runner-up, and Happy Folks received a special mention.
● Session 2 featured entrepreneurs from outside the college who sought investment for their
startups.
