About the Programme
St. Joseph’s College of Commerce has designed the BBA (Professional Finance and
Accountancy) programme in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants (CIMA).
CIMA is the world’s leading and largest professional body of management accountants. The
unique blend of management accounting, financial accounting and business-focused subjects
offered by the qualified and experienced staff at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce and the
acclaimed professionals produce competent and confident Chartered Global Management
Accountants who can lead their organizations to sustainable success.
BBA (Professional – Finance and Accountancy) is integrated with the CGMA Finance
Leadership Program which is a digital-first learning program and is similar in scope plus rigor to
a master’s degree. Students will learn the finance, business, digital, people and leadership skills
that employers are looking for, today and in the future. The programme not only offers a
thirteen-paper exemption from the regular CIMA papers but also gives an opportunity to
students to gain qualifications like Diploma in Management Accounting and Advanced Diploma
in Management Accounting as they pursue this program. It is mandatory for the students to
take the CIMA Case study exams starting from the 4 th semester.
