About Programme
B.Com (Analytics) Programme prepares individuals who can pursue career in the field of analytics. It helps students specialize in different domains related to analytics, and apply tools and techniques to solve business analytics problems. The Programme is accredited by the Institute of Analytics, UK. (IOA) The Degree focuses on the conceptual knowledge in the multiple disciplines of analytics. The College intends to impart value based education to the students that will help them to function effectively in their business analytics career.

User Guide for Online Application


No student shall be eligible for admission to the 1st Degree course through non-formal /distance education unless he/she has successfully completed 12 years of Schooling through an examination conducted by a Board/University or through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

Mandatory eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level ( Karnataka PUC, ISC, CBSE, NIOS, state boards) in any stream of Commerce & Science ( however, the student should have studied Mathematics at the +2 level) from any recognized boards from India or abroad with a minimum of 70%

Kindly note the fee is fixed for one year, there may be a nominal increase in fees every academic year.
Indian nationals pursuing an international curriculum in India, will pay the fee applicable for NRI students for the first year.
The selected candidates, after appearing for the final selection process, must pay the fee through the following options:
a) Via bank transfer to the South Indian Bank, Brigade Road Branch, Bangalore. To pay via bank transfer, candidates must contact the accounts department in the college or mail to for details.
b) DD drawn in favor of "Principal, St. Joseph's College of Commerce" payable at Bengaluru.
Payment / Transfer of fees does not guarantee the admission if the eligibility criterion is not satisfied

Date Process Particulars Guidelines
17th April, 2020 ROUND 1 - SCAT St. Joseph’s Commerce Aptitude Test (SCAT) will consist of 4 sections:
  1. English

  2. Basic Mathematics

  3. Advanced Mathematics

  4. Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation

  1. The test will begin at 11:30 a.m.

  2. Candidates are required to be present in the venue by 10:30 a.m.

  3. The test will be of one hour duration

  4. Each section will consist of 15 questions

  5. All questions are compulsory

  6. There will be no negative marking.

18th April, 2020 ROUND 2 - Analytics Round Analytics Round:

This round would consist of a combination of the following - Case study and Data Interpretation/ Presentation etc

  1. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a session where in, a panel of experts test the students on their analytical skills.

  2. Timings and room allotment will be put up along with the selected list.

20th April, 2020 ROUND 3– PERSONAL INTERVIEWS Shortlisted candidates are required to attend the personal interview in formal attire along with their parents. They are required to also carry the following documents( Original and Photocopy):
  1. Print out of the filled in online application form

  2. Valid ID (Aadhar, Passport etc.)

  3. 10th standard marks card

  4. 11th standard marks card

  5. Caste certificate (if applicable)

  6. Parish priest letter (if Roman Catholic)

  7. E- Admit card

Aptitude Test
  1. The e-admit card is to be kept with the candidate throughout the admission process.

  2. All students must carry a valid ID proof Driving License/Passport/Electoral ID/Aadhar Card) along with aptitude test admit cards. Passport and Visa Page if from Outside India.

  3. Candidates who have applied online should download their Admit Card from our college website (download admit card) on the dates mentioned.

  4. Kindly check the website for the seating arrangement.

  5. You are expected to bring your own stationary (Pen, Pencil, erasers, etc.)

  6. Candidates are expected to be seated in their respective rooms by at least 15 minutes prior to commencement of the test.

  7. Cellular phone, Satellite phone, pager, Calculators, Digital Diaries. etc., are not allowed into the Selection Process venue, in any case.

  8. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process

  9. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing the Selection Process

  10. Only two wheeler parking will be available for the students

  11. In case the candidate has applied for two programmes, date/time will be notified in advance, check website for details.

  12. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for Admission rests with the student/ candidate. Issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.

Application Procedure

In case you are unable to submit applications ONLINE, you could visit the College with a copy of a passport size photograph (soft copy), along with copies of documents. Assistance will be provided to you in the College campus for filling the application online.
