About Programme
The Bachelor of Commerce in Travel and Tourism management aims to equip students with the analytical, strategic and policy making skills required for sustainable tourism management within both commercial business enterprises and the public sector tourism industry. With a strong foundation in commerce, in this programme, students are also exposed to exclusive field visits and internships in the hospitality sector.

User Guide for Online Application


No student shall be eligible for admission to the 1st Degree course through non-formal /distance education unless he/she has successfully completed 12 years of Schooling through an examination conducted by a Board/University or through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

Mandatory eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC, ISC, CBSE, NIOS, state boards) in any stream of Commerce & Science from any recognized boards from India or abroad.

Kindly note the fee is fixed for one year, there may be a nominal increase in fees every academic year.
Indian nationals pursuing an international curriculum in India will pay the fee applicable for NRI students for the first year.
The selected candidates, after appearing for the final selection process, must pay the fee through the following options:
a) Via Online bank transfer to the South Indian Bank/Bank of Baroda, Brigade Road Branch, Bangalore. To pay via NEFT/RTGS transfer, candidates must contact the accounts department in the college or mail to for details.
b) DD drawn in favor of "Principal, St. Joseph's College of Commerce" payable at Bengaluru.
Payment / Transfer of fees does not guarantee the admission if the eligibility criterion is not satisfied

Admission Process
  1. Admission will be on merit basis.

  2. Soon after the announcement of results of the respective boards, marks should be entered and submitted online.

  3. Deadlines: 2 days from the date of declaration of respective board results (CBSE /ICSE / II PUC & other Board) results (Day 1 being the date of announcement of results). Kindly check the website or college notice board for updated details.

  4. The final list of the provisionally selected candidates and the schedule of the interview/orientation can be viewed on our website. The same list will also be displayed on the College notice board.

  5. Applicants who are selected for the interview/orientation should bring along with them the hard copy of the application form, Photocopies of marks cards, caste certificate (if applicable). Applicants who are Roman Catholics are expected to produce a letter from the Parish Priest at the time of interview/orientation. Provisionally selected candidates have to appear in formal attire with their parents for the interview/orientation. Originals for verification propose only.

Application Procedure

In case you are unable to submit applications ONLINE, you could visit the College with a copy of a passport size photograph (soft copy), along with copies of documents. Assistance will be provided to you in the College campus for filling the application online.

If the "Payment processing output page/application number" is not displayed on your monitor due to power failure or Internet link failure after the deduction of the amount from your account, then go to “My Applications” (in your login), use the payment enquiry button to update the payment status and generate the application.
